Students are investigating five murders. Each group looks at a primary source and tries to find out if the military MURDERED the colonists or if they acted in SELF DEFENSE. Students used these handouts (Slides 1-16) to investigate their answer.

Students are investigating five murders. Yesterday each group looked at these handouts (Slides 1-16) to interview a witness. This day the students learned from their classmates who read a different testimony. At the end of the day, they had to choose if they would charge the soldiers with MURDER or with SELF DEFENSE (slides 37 & 38)
HOMEWORK: Finish the worksheet, if not already done.
